2. Payment terms
Payment is to be made either immediately by direct debit or within 10 days following receipt of the furniture items. If payments are carried out within the time limits stated above, the customer may subtract 2% from the invoice. If an item costs €3000 or more, a five percent deposit must be paid. If a substantial number of items is ordered, resulting in a high total order value, individual payment terms may be agreed with OOZIRA. OOZIRA shall remain the owner of the items in question until all invoices are paid in full.
3. Order information
The accompanying service manual contains information on the number of items produced of each series and their respective serial numbers. You can therefore always check whether the supplied item is original and has been produced according to our quality standards. Furthermore the service manual contains tips on how to care for OOZIRA furniture. All our furniture is made of natural materials, and wood in particular, if subjected to widely varying temperatures or handled improperly, e.g. placed in damp or extremely dry environment, can warp. There may be slight deviations from the images shown in catalogues and online e.g. the appearance of the grain. As our goods are to some extent both handmade and customized, we consider slight irregularities in colour, shape, texture, size and visible craftsmanship not to be faults but instead indicators of quality.
4. Exchanging goods
What do you do if you don't like the item you have ordered? Simple! Just send it back to us within 14 days - you don't even have to note down a reason! This statutory right of return naturally does not apply to goods specially produced for you or customized to suit your own particular needs, e.g. custom-built furniture. Our prices exclude any decorations, are fixed, and include value added tax. Value added tax will however be shown separately on the invoice. Following the publication of a new catalogue, all preceding price lists cease to be valid. In exceptional cases we reserve the right to alter our prices.
5. Delivery obligation
No damages will be paid in the event of late or incomplete delivery unless there is evidence of gross negligence. If goods become unavailable, we shall inform you immediately and any deposit paid will be returned to you without delay.
Our delivery obligation presupposes that you as the customer shall fulfil/have fulfilled all the obligations that you have entered into, in particular those of a financial nature relating to earlier orders. If these are breached, we shall release ourselves from our delivery obligation to you and shall be entitled to demand immediate payment of all outstanding invoices, including those not yet due, and to disregard any orders not yet processed. The statutory requirements relating to damage claims due to non-fulfilment remain unaffected.
